A Website Should Do More Than Look Good: How Rha Marketing Builds Websites That Work

Have you seen a website that looks good, saves time and helps drive revenue? That is exactly what we wanted to achieve with our latest client website.

At Rha Marketing, we do not see a website as an isolated piece of design. We see it as part of a much bigger digital ecosystem. Your website can connect with your e-commerce platform, CRM, marketing campaigns, customer data and automation, reducing repetitive work while creating a better experience for customers.

Our latest website launch for Perormo Coffee & Vending is a good example of that approach. Rather than simply redesigning how the business looked online, we considered what the website could actually do for the business.

Beautiful websites are no longer enough

Good design still matters enormously. A website needs to establish trust in seconds, communicate the proposition clearly and make products and services easy to understand. None of that goes away. But businesses should expect more from a website than a good first impression.

The questions we ask at the start of every build are less about how it looks and more about what it does:

  • Can the website save the business time?

Every hour spent updating pages by hand is an hour not spent selling or serving customers.

  • Can it connect with existing systems?

E-commerce platforms, CRM, accounting, stock, booking tools. The website should talk to what is already in place.

  • Can products update automatically?

Product changes made once, in one system, reflected everywhere a customer looks.

  • Can customers move seamlessly from discovery to purchase?

No dead ends between finding a product and completing an order.

  • Can enquiries automatically enter a CRM?

Leads landing in a pipeline with a source attached, rather than in an inbox.

  • Can marketing automation take over repetitive follow-up?

Confirmation, nurture and re-engagement handled consistently instead of when someone remembers.

  • Can AI help qualify or manage enquiries?

Sorting, summarising and routing enquiries so the team spends time on the ones that matter.

  • Can website behaviour provide useful sales and marketing data?

What people search, view and abandon is direction for the next campaign.

A modern website should not create more admin. It should remove it.

Putting that philosophy into practice: Perormo Coffee & Vending

Perormo Coffee & Vending supplies commercial coffee machines, speciality coffee and vending solutions to businesses across the UK, with installation and nationwide service support. They came to Rha Marketing wanting a website that reflected the quality of the product range and the professionalism of the service behind it.

The objective was never simply a more modern-looking site. We set out to create a digital experience that presents the product range professionally, makes machines and solutions easier to discover, improves the customer journey, supports online purchasing, reduces manual website administration and connects with the systems the business already uses day to day.

Connecting the website directly with Shopify

One of the most important elements of this build was connecting the customer-facing website directly with Shopify, so Shopify acts as the commerce infrastructure behind the experience rather than a separate shop bolted onto the side.

The result is less duplicate administration, less manual updating, a smoother buying journey and e-commerce management that can scale as the range grows.

Automation is not always about adding AI. Sometimes the smartest automation is simply making your existing systems communicate properly.

Look good. Save time. Help drive revenue.

Look good

Professional design, considered user experience, fully responsive layouts, consistent brand application and clear product presentation, so the business is taken as seriously online as it is in person.

Save time

Integration and automation remove repetitive administration and duplicate data management. Information is maintained once and used everywhere it is needed.

Help drive revenue

Clearer customer journeys, stronger calls to action, easier product discovery and streamlined checkout are all designed to support conversion and help reduce friction between interest and purchase.

We are deliberate about that language. A website cannot guarantee revenue. What it can do is remove friction, support conversion and help turn interest into action, which is what good commercial design is for.

The website is only one part of the system

This is where we tend to work differently to a traditional website agency. We think about the website alongside the CRM, the e-commerce platform, paid advertising, customer data, automation, AI and analytics. Individually these are useful. Connected, they become considerably more valuable.

That joined-up view is what we mean when we talk about digital transformation. It is rarely one dramatic project. It is usually a series of sensible connections between things a business already owns.

Where does AI fit into a modern website?

We do not add AI because it is fashionable. AI earns its place when it solves a genuine problem in the business. Depending on the organisation, that might mean AI lead qualification, an AI assistant, intelligent enquiry routing, automated customer communication, CRM and marketing automation, automated reporting and KPI summaries, customer segmentation, content workflows, AI-assisted search, personalised customer journeys or sharper sales and marketing insight.

The question is not "How can we add AI?" The better question is "Where could technology remove friction from this business?"

Our own product work follows the same rule. Zenbrew, the AI CRM we built in Rha Labs, exists because a sales team was losing around 30 hours a week to manual email personalisation, not because AI was on a roadmap.

What makes Rha Marketing different from a traditional web design agency?

Rha Marketing combines website development with marketing strategy, AI, automation, CRM, e-commerce, paid media, customer journeys and data. Rather than treating a website as a standalone project, we look at how it connects with the wider business and marketing infrastructure.

= Smarter digital infrastructure

We do not just build websites. We build smarter digital infrastructure around businesses.

Built in South Wales. Designed for businesses everywhere.

Rha Marketing is based in Bridgend, South Wales, and works with businesses in Cardiff, Swansea, Bristol, across Wales, London and the wider United Kingdom. We also support clients in the United States and other international markets remotely.

Based in South Wales. Built for global business.

Technology means ambitious businesses no longer have to choose between local accessibility and international capability. We bring digital strategy, marketing, websites, AI and automation to organisations regardless of geography, working the same way with a company twenty minutes down the M4 as with one five time zones away.

Why websites are becoming part of AI and digital transformation

The website increasingly sits at the centre of a company digital ecosystem. It is the point where advertising, search, CRM, e-commerce, customer data, analytics, automation and AI meet. That changes what a web partner needs to understand.

Design and development are the baseline. What matters just as much is what happens before someone reaches the website, and what happens after they leave it. That is the space Rha Marketing works in.

Building websites for how people discover businesses now

Discovery is changing. Traditional search optimisation still matters, and it still drives serious commercial traffic. Alongside it, customers now find companies through Google AI experiences, ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and other AI-powered answer platforms.

  • SEO, Search Engine Optimisation

Technical health, site structure, page speed, indexability and genuinely useful content.

  • AEO, Answer Engine Optimisation

Clear questions and concise, accurate answers that can be quoted directly.

  • GEO, Generative Engine Optimisation

Well-defined entities, structured data and consistent information so AI systems can understand what a business is and what it does.

Nobody can promise a ranking inside ChatGPT, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can do is make a business easier for both search engines and AI systems to understand, through clear entities, useful content, sound technical foundations, structured data and well-organised information.
